Artak Pictures is a Los Angeles-based, women-owned production company dedicated to bringing bold, character-driven stories and fresh perspectives to the screen. Founded in 2021 by Floriane, Marianne, Yessi, and Nina, four European filmmakers with roots in France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Germany, the company brings an international perspective to independent filmmaking. Through emotionally grounded storytelling, Artak Pictures explores identity, resilience, and the complexities of the human experience, connecting personal narratives to broader social realities.
Marianne Bourg
Marianne is a Luxembourgish-French actress and producer. Before pursuing a career in film, she studied at EDHEC Business School, Cambridge and in Taiwan, earning a Master's in Finance and Economics. She also spent time living in Cambodia and working as an investment banker in Luxembourg before eventually moving to Los Angeles. After earning an MFA in Acting for Film, she went on to appear in over 90 productions, including NCIS (CBS), Awkward (MTV), Acapulco (Apple TV+) and The Deal (ARTE). Her feature film credits include The Room and ¡He Matado a mi Marido! In 2021, she co-founded ARTAK Pictures, with the ambition of bridging American and European filmmaking, drawing on the best of both worlds. In 2024, she joined DEAL Productions in Luxembourg, where she is involved in the development of international film and TV projects.

Floriane Andersen
Floriane is a French-American producer, actor, and director based in Los Angeles. She is the co-founder of Artak Pictures, where she has produced and executive produced films including I Live Here Now, directed by Julie Pacino, Perfect, starring Julia Fox, and The Stalemate, starring Ben Foster and Fiona Shaw. As a director, Floriane’s short film Unforgotten received the Best Director Award at the Burbank International Film Festival. As an actor, her recent credits include David Robert Mitchell’s They Follow, the sequel to It Follows, starring Maika Monroe, and Shiddat, available on Hulu. Working across French and English, Floriane is passionate about distinctive, character-driven stories and creating opportunities for underrepresented voices while building bridges between European and American filmmaking communities.

Nina Seul
Nina is a French-German actress, producer and co-founder of Artak Pictures. She has built an international career spanning Europe and the United States. Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2017, Nina has worked across film, both in front of and behind the camera. Her acting credits include Dark Web, starring Danny Glover, and Our Almost Completely Story. She received a Best Actress award for her performance in Border, which was selected for the Telluride Film Festival. Passionate about developing projects that bring fresh perspectives to the screen, she draws on her creative experience and multicultural background to connect audiences through film. In 2023, she joined Delirium Musicum as Artist Liaison, contributing her production expertise and international perspective to the orchestra’s artistic and organizational development.

Yessi Sanchez is a Swiss-Mexican producer based in Los Angeles and co-founder of Artak Pictures, a women-owned production company championing underrepresented voices. Raised between cultures, her work explores identity, displacement, resilience, and emotional truth. Through Artak Pictures, she develops character-driven stories that center intimate human experiences and perspectives underrepresented on screen and behind the camera. The company prioritizes inclusive hiring, with at least 50% women on set and diverse creative leadership. She also hosts No Map Included, a podcast exploring the realities of creative life through personal reflections and conversations with fellow artists. She is committed to building sustainable pathways for women filmmakers and connecting cross-cultural, personal stories to broader social realities.
