While hiding in the Utah mountains, an orphan struggling to adjust to his solitary life as a werewolf becomes unlikely allies with a college student after she escapes his claws.
Synopsis
Set in 1993 Utah, a teenage orphan (SCOUT) escapes to the mountains in order to hide himself as a recently turned werewolf. SCOUT befriends an unexpected ally in SARA, a college student who's backpacking friends are attacked by the mysterious beast. The two unlikely friends create a bond navigating their haunting reality and searching for a solution before the next full moon.

Cub Scout has many films that inspire and influence the mood, tone and style.
• The off-beat and quirky character of Ricky Baker in Hunt for the Widerpeople.
• Memorable side characters, camera movement and the moral dilemmas explored in Coen Brothers fashion (ie. Fargo).
• Youth dealing with a dark supernatural element, similar to Let The Right One In.
While drawing upon many similarities with these films, there is no question that Cub Scout will be one of a kind.

Matt’s early experience includes creative work on Iron Man 2, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Disney’s Starstruck, Nickelodeon’s Yo Gabba Gabba and The Aquabats Super Show.
